I must confess I was surprised at the idea of re-recording Joni Mitchell's iconic "Mingus" album but we did it and without Jaco it is of course a very different animal! Critics and audiences have responded well to it. It's a shame the production budget didn't seem to stretch to the mix within the drum kit (which is still in the rough mix from the day it was recorded), let alone the balance between the drums and the rest of the band, but that's what happens when the members of the band aren't consulted about the mix. Anyway - Imogen sounds good.
